The Armenian people are in shock, in shock, having witnessed all
those events concerning their fate. They were annihilated, erased,
martyred, and the great, cultured nations made promises but subsequent
to the war spat upon them, exploited their million sacrifices, established friendships with the Turks, strengthened them, got them up on their feet,
and today the monarch of Great Britain comes to visit Kemal carrying with

him an alliance of friendship...The Armenian is in shock and he no longer comprehends the affairs of the world, he no longer understands good and evil. He does not know anymore where he is, on which planet? No longer does he understand a single language, the world is incomprehensible, and the incomprehensible is being explained in an incomprehensible (diplomatic) language. But they, the Armenian people, will understand one thing, that the bread consumed by the great and a number of smaller states is kneaded in Armenian blood...
